That's me on right. I was the enlisted Chief of the Fire Direction Center for the First Squadron of the Eleventh Armored Cavalry Regiment working in III Corps in South Vietnam--March, 1969-April, 1970.

155mm Self-Propelled Howitzers Firing -- "Battery Six"

"Battery-6" signals six howitzers to fire six fused-projectiles in rapid succession--(36 total rounds on target).

Laundry Day for Fire Direction Command Track at Remote Jungle Location

Rome Plows (Bulldozers) leveled this jungle position and carved a depression for our Command Track. I painted "Alice"s Restaurant" on side because it looked to me like an upright food service truck. Our FDC Officer is shaving at right.

Rest Stop for Sheridan Tank Crews

These tanks are lighter weight compared to M-48 tank (see M-48 slide) and more maneuverable

Road March over Song-Be Bridge

The bridge was constructed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The soil was this deep red color.. Crew members sat atop vehicles during transport.
